KTC Child & Family Services in partnership with three member Nations is in the process of developing it's own Child & Family Services Act.  This will create a system where Loon River First Nation, Peerless Trout First Nation and Lubicon Lake Band administer, operate and are the sovereign government body to exercise their rights for decision making on the best interest of their children.  This will be for on and off reserve children across Canada if passed by the three Nations.

Community engagement sessions began this week with the First Reading of the draft Act.  Zoom sessions are scheduled for those interested but cannot attend in person.
