Loon Lake - Peerless/Trout Lake - Lubicon

Treaty Days 2015
KTC Child & Family Services staff attended all treaty days held this year by our five First Nations communities. We provided face painting services, temporary tattoos and prize draws for children and adults. KTC CFS had a foster parent recruitment table set up as we always need foster or kinship parents.
Treaty days this year were scheduled for:
Whitefish Lake First Nation June 29 - 30
Peerless - Trout First Nation August 4 - 9
Loon River First Nation August 12 - 15
Woodland Cree First Nation August 14 - 15
Lubicon Lake Band August 21 - 23
Most of the communities had different activities for people to participate in such as parades, kids games, bingo, Strong Man & Woman competitions, canoe races, Gospel Music Fest, horse shoe tournaments, talent shows and inflatable play houses. There were also food booths, free traditional food and company sponsored BBQ's.
